To commemorate your child's birthday or any other day you'd like to celebrate with us, you have the opportunity to donate a book to the Jefferson Elementary Library. (note: Summer birthdays can do either September or the child's half birthday.) These books will help enhance the library collection, support the school curriculum, and increase reading in our school. The book will have a label with your child's name on it, leaving a legacy in the library.
Here's how it works
There is an Amazon Wish Listof suggested books but a new copy of one of your child's favorite books or a family favorite is also a good idea. You can either drop the book off at the Jefferson Library or request the library purchase the your chosen book with a $15 check made out to Jefferson Elementary.
We'll put a commemorative label on the inside cover of the book with your child's name and their birthday book donation will be recognized during the morning announcements. Your child will be the first person to check out their birthday book.
Thank you for considering a donation. It is a great way to celebrate the special occasions in your child's life and support Jefferson Elementary at the same time!
Please note: This is strictly a voluntary program. You are not obligated to participate in any way. We thank you in advance for helping Jefferson Library.
