District 205 Social Workers Present 'Well Parented Kids'

District 205’s Social Work Department presents "Well-parented Kids: 10 Anchors for Building Strong Families." This free program for parents will be held on Tuesday, October 24, from 12:30-2:30 PM in the Sandburg Middle School Auditorium. This presentation will identify the key elements of effective parent-child relationships including setting communication norms, modeling values, sponsoring constructive conflict resolution, maintaining respect and trust, facilitating growth, teaching coping skills and navigating change. Presenters are Katie McDougall, LCSW and Steve Ritter, LCSW. No reservations are needed. Please enter through door 2, in the auditorium. Parking is available in the back of the school, just be alert for students.
