Your Membership plus your Student Support Donations help keep Jefferson a NO SELL school!! Hooray!! Did you know that last year alone the PTA funded over $200 in benefits per student including the NEW playground, the MakerSpace Center, classroom libraries and all the fun activities like the Book Fair and Science Olympiad? Your membership AND your donations are critical to our success. We truly appreciate your membership and continued support!!

Please visit the PTA Home Page and click on/download the membership form. Don't delay!

  • Please visit our Book Fair Homepage for hours of operation, special events, and online ordering. http://www.scholastic.com/bf/jeffersonelementary205
  • School Day Visits (Tuesday 9/25 and Wednesday 9/26): During the school day students will find their free book from the PTA and may also shop with cash from home in a clearly marked re-sealable bag. PTA will provide change and a receipt for all purchases. Sales tax does apply.
  • Special Event: Family Night is Thursday 5-8pm. Mrs Weber's storytime will start at 6pm. There will be crafts and games for students. Please RSVP on the homepage to give us an idea of how many crafts and fun to prepare. Just click on Thursday and the RSVP is quick and easy.
  • Donate your used books!: What kind of books? New and gently used books appropriate for birth to 5th grade. Please no textbooks, activity books, or reference books. Please only donate books that a child would be happy to receive. All donated books will go to elementary school students in need or the Elmhurst/Yorkfield Food Pantry. Each day you donate will also earn one entry in the prize drawing at the end of the fair.
  • "All for Books!": Don't have any books to donate? Another way to help promote books for everyone is to donate $1 to our All For Books fund. These funds go to buy more books in the Jefferson Elementary library for all students. Each family will receive 2 forms in the packet sent home via your mail carrier student. Additional forms are available in the front office.

Eat & Earn at Portillo's - Portillo's is the perfect place to have dinner or grab carry-out before/after Family Reading Night at the Book Fair on September 27th. Mention the Jefferson PTA fundraiser when you order, and Portillo's willdonate 20% of the qualifying food orders to our organization. What better way to support the Jefferson PTA?
